What is the active ingredient Beaphar FIPROtec® Spot-On?
Beaphar FIPROtec® Spot-On contains Fipronil. This is an insecticide,
and kills adult fleas and ticks. Fipronil works by killing parasites through contact,
not via the bloodstream. This means a harmful flea or tick does not have to bite your pet in order to be killed, thereby reducing the chance of disease transmission from fleas or ticks.
Beaphar FIPROtec® Spot-On is a veterinary medicine, and has been fully licensed by the Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD).
You know you have a licenced medicine because it has a Vm number printed on the pack.
