Albinati gets green light for to fly pets into UK

Geneva-based private jet management and charter company Albinati Aeronautics has been given the go-ahead to allow customers to bring their pets on board flights into the UK.

The approvals mean that pets can travel with their owners at any one of five UK airports, including Biggin Hill, Farnborough, Gatwick, Stansted and Manchester Airports.

Albinati says its Maltese operating division has also received approvals to transport dogs, cats and ferrets on flights to Biggin Hill Airport, with the company expecting to receive approvals for other UK airports soon.

As well as being able to travel in the aircraft’s cabin, pets flying with their owner on Albinati will also be able to avoid the compulsory quarantine period. To speed up the process, the company will supply all related documentation to clients flying with their pets well in advance of the flight taking place.
