Pet supplies could soon be sold in a Hampshire village if permission is granted to change the use of this old vet’s premises.
Kara Pym of Barn Lane, Basingstoke, has asked the borough council for a certificate of lawfulness to change the use of the building in Hill Road, Oakley, to a pet supply shop.
The application states that the vacant veterinary centre has been used for retail before, was once a butcher’s shop and that the proposed business is wanted in the village and has been highlighted in the Oakley village design statement.
