Heartbroken dog owner Helen Nutter, 30, offered a £500 reward on Facebook to find Spaniel-cross Tilly after she disappeared during a caravan holiday at Towyn, North Wales.

The dog, who vanished chasing a rabbit, has now turned up 150 miles away two weeks later.

Helen had given up hope when she had a call from a man in Worcester to say he had found five-year-old Tilly.

The mother-of-one, of the Wirral, Cheshire, said: "It is a complete mystery how she travelled that distance - someone must have taken her.

"I'm just glad to have her back - if only she could talk!"
