Tetra's Peppa Pig aquariums make an impact at Webbs of Wychbold

Pet Trade Xtra has spotted another example of great merchandising of the new Tetra Peppa Pig aquariums...this time at Webbs of Wychbold.

The range is having quite an impact in pet shops, aquatic stores and garden centres with strong merchandising displays attracting huge numbers on potential customers.

Agathe Dias, Tetra’s Marketing Manager for Western Europe, says: “This is an exciting launch for us and a great opportunity for retailers to ride on the success of the BAFTA award winning Peppa Pig animated series.

"Merchandising for Peppa Pig is already generating £200 million in retail sales with over four million books and £7.5 million DVDs sold to date.

"It has high appeal and great potential for retailers to attract long-term customers. There are the repeat sales of the cartridges but also the benefit of being there are the beginning of a child’s fishkeeping journey. They make a perfect Christmas present.”

The Tetra Peppa Pig aquarium is a complete starter kit that brings the popular cartoon to life, offering children the chance to decorate their own tank with a Peppa Pig backdrop and stickers.
