Newcastle PDSA store's bridal bargain to help pets in need
Supporters of an animal charity are hoping blushing brides will help them to raise hundreds of pounds for poorly pets.

The PDSA store in Ironmarket, Newcastle, has launched its 'wedding extravaganza' featuring a large collection of new and secondhand wedding dresses. Prices start from £30.

Store manager Kelly Byrne said: "It is going to be a fantastic and fun event. We have lots of styles and sizes in store."

The store also has outfits for bridesmaids and mothers as well as accessories such as veils, hats, shoes and head-dresses.

Kelly added: "This is an incredible opportunity for couples to make the happiest day of their life even better, by finding a beautiful dress at an unbelievable price.

"It's great fun helping a bride choose her dress, especially as the sale will also help PDSA continue its life-saving work."
