Santa Paws provides festive fun for Tamworth pets

Pets in Tamworth are being urged to get into the festivities – with a trip to see Santa Paws in his grotto.

As well as the annual Santa's grotto for families of the human kind, Planters Garden Centre, in Trinity Road, Freasley, will be hosting a special two-day event called 'Santa Paws' – where pets can visit the man himself, as well as get a photo and a gift.

Debbie Toddington, Sky Trail and events co-ordinator for Planters, said: "The Santa Paws grotto was introduced last year and is back by popular demand.

"The event was only advertised on Facebook last year and we had over 50 people turn up with their pets on the day.

"This year we decided to put on two events on December 15 and December 16, 10am to 4pm. We've sold over 100 tickets already and I reckon we will be sold out soon."

Tickets must be booked online at www.plantersgc.com or by calling 01827 831981.
