Award-winning Irish company Christies Direct has bought leading UK grooming supplier DeZynaDog Ltd, whose previous owners Trevor and Carole Flatt have decided to retire.

DeZynaDog is as specialist suppliers for the professional animal grooming Industry. Striving to offer clients the largest range of equipment and products under one roof in the UK, together with help, advice and excellent service from an experienced team dedicated to the industry, DeZynaDog is known in the industry as the One Stop Shop for Groomers.

DeZynaDog was born from Carole’s dreams of becoming a dog groomer back in the 1950s before grooming was considered as a serious profession. By the mid 1970 the company had started selling a small amount of grooming equipment to other groomers. 

As a family, Trevor, Carole and Mandy have dedicated their lives to the grooming industry. Their passion for highest quality products and customer care is renowned throughout the market and has grown DeZynaDog to the business we know today.

In the last 50 years, grooming has changed out of all recognition and the Flatt family has had much influence in the growth of the industry over the years. In fact, for many years, DeZynaDog led the marketplace. Now, after 57 years in business, it is time for Trevor and Carole to relax and enjoy their retirement and for Mandy to concentrate on her work with The Scissor Boutique. 

The family have been trying to sell the business for a number of years but were keen to choose the right buyer. Trevor and Carole were keen that the company would continue to be managed with the same passion and care for product quality and customers that the family have shown over the past 58 years.

Christies Direct was an obvious choice – a company long established in the industry and well respected for both customer service and innovative products. Both the Christie family, and their team of employees share a passion for the industry and the customer, that is second to none. 

Carole, Trevor and Mandy feel Christies Direct is a good home for the future of DeZynaDog.  They can rest assured that the products will remain high quality, all DeZynaDog customers will be well cared for and that the new team will continue to build on the family’s hard work to grow the business in the coming years.

Dezynadog will be run as a separate company and the new sales team will be on hand to help with orders and customer queries.  Carole and Trevor would like to thank all their customers for the support they have shown over the past 57 years and hope you will give the new team at DeZynaDog your continued support in the future. 

Over the coming months, DeZynaDog will be launching a number of new products, as well as enhancing the current DeZynaDog range.
