Appeal after money is stolen from Pets at Home store
Cash has been stolen from a Pets at Home store in Rhyl, North Wales, during a night-time raid.
Police are appealing for witnesses after offenders forced entry through the front door of Pets at Home on Clwyd Retail Park at around 1am on Monday, July 8.
“This is the second incident of cash being stolen from business premises in two weeks,” said Detective Sergeant Richard Sidney, referring to the burglary at Poundland in Rhyl on June 30.
He added: “We would like to advise business owners to take appropriate security measures regarding cash held on their premises.”
Police are keen to speak with anybody who witnessed anything or who may have information relating to either incident. Anyone with information is urged to contact DC Jenny Sansom on 101, quoting reference number RC13103152.
