Pooch & Mutt wins £10,000 worth of products from Microsoft

Pooch & Mutt has won Microsoft Small Business’s Techover Competition with £10,000 worth of new technology being added to their London office next month, including hardware, software and consultancy.

The award-winning dog nutrition company created a six second video to explain why they would benefit from a technology makeover. The video featured Pepper the Cockerpoo, Pooch & Mutt’s official product tester, and examples of the technology she is in need of. This included new tablets, desktops and keyboards.

After lots of deliberation, interviews and a brilliant Twitter Q & A where the shortlisted businesses asked great questions about tech and business issues, the final decision was made.

Pooch & Mutt was one of two winners to receive £10,000 worth of new technology alongside UK Fostering, an independent provider of child fostering services. The two growing, British companies were chosen by a panel of business experts as the winners out of numerous entries that were submitted.

Pooch & Mutt will receive an independent technology assessment to measure what new technology would be beneficial to continue to fuel the company’s strong growth they have experienced.

Dan Stremel, Pooch & Mutt’s online marketing executive, states: “We are so pleased to have won the technology makeover and we are very proud to be representing the UK pet industry with this win.

"We wanted to create a short video that captured the youthfulness and fun loving nature of Pooch & Mutt. Our company motto is to help dogs lead happy, healthy lives and by winning this makeover, we are one step closer to achieving our goal."

Pooch & Mutt offer natural, ethical and British dog nutrition products, including hand baked treats, supplements and grain free foods.
