'All go' for CSJ at Aviemore Sled Dog Rally

It was ‘all go’ at the The Siberian Husky Club of Great Britain Aviemore Sled Dog Rally.

On both days the forest around Loch Morlich in the shadow of the Cairngorm Mountains echoed with the howls of over 1,000 dogs eager for the off on the 7 mile trail and an unavoidable late start on the Saturday only added to the excitement.

The 250 mushers taking part were racing teams including Siberian Huskies, Alaskan Malamutes, Samoyeds, Greenland Dogs and Canadian Eskimo Dogs and CSJ was mingling with the crowds doing interviews and taking photos of the teams for their website and social media pages.

Held and organised by the Siberian Husky Club of Great Britain and Forestry Commission Scotland this 36th anniversary of the rally was another roaring success and CSJ are looking forward to sponsoring again in 2020.
